THE YOUTH SPORT TRUST

The Youth Sport Trust is a registered charity, established in 1995 with a mission to build a brighter future for young people by enhancing the quality of their physical education and sporting opportunities.

 Their key aims are:

• To increase young people’s participation and enjoyment in physical education and school sport.

• For young people to have the chance to experience and enjoy different types of activities at whatever level is right for them.

• To ensure youngsters receive the best teaching, coaching and resources possible and have the chance to progress if they show talent.

• To help and encourage young people to live healthy and active lives and to be the best they can be.

These objectives are achieved through educational sporting programmes delivered through schools and supported by a range of partners. 

Growing evidence indicates that high quality physical education and sport, and being more active and healthier improves educational standards as well as building confidence, self esteem, encouraging team work and wider social and personal skills.

THE YOUTH SPORT TRUST BUSINESS HONOURS CLUB

Entry to the Youth Sport Trust Business Honours Club is only open to businesses such as Edventure after the completion of a vigorous appraisal process.  Members must show how they can help support the Youth Sport Trust deliver its core mission and offer or develop innovative products, services or programmes which can be used to help the Youth Sport Trust build a brighter future for young people through active learning, physical education and sport.

As a member of the Youth Sport Trust Business Honours Club we adhere to their code of conduct and comply with their principles of engagement.  We work in active partnership to help use the innovation within our business to compliment the objectives of the Youth Sport Trust and schools.

Being a member distinguishes our company and opens opportunities for us to showcase our work, through various means, within schools.  We are proud and privileged to be working with the Youth Sport Trust through their Business Honours Club and if physical activity is enhanced through the products and services we offer we are thrilled to be helping the Youth Sport Trust achieve its objectives.
