Skipping Challenge
Edventure Ltd Conquers the World!
At 11am on April 30th 2009 over 10,000 children skipped to their hearts content! Initial figures at Edventure World Record HQ are promising a victory for children across the UK. Schools from Aberdeen in Scotland to Honiton in Devon have all registered to take part and have been practising their skipping skills for the last few weeks.
David Piper, Director of Edventure commented, "It's been a great day! The children have tried really hard with their skipping whilst the teachers have put in so much effort on our behalf. With so many children skipping across the country, our warehouse team have run low on supplies of skipping ropes and need to make more for next term!"
Edventure Ltd are currently going through a rebranding exercise and the Guinness World Record was just the beginning of a series of events to build awareness of the educational playtime specialist company.
The team at Edventure would like to thank all the teachers and children who took part in the World Record Attempt, and will issue a formal statement from Guinness as soon as possible.
